Day 471

For the past few days, I was wondering that since we are in the last month of 2020, then what was so special about this year. The only thing which came in my mind was Corona virus and the lockdown. Then another thought came into mind that why this virus has turned into an ugly monster which caused so many deaths across the globe except China. Of course, a monster doesn’t create terror in its home. Whole world came in effect with this tiny monster but China has always controlled it. Anyway, I don’t want to repeat the same allegation on China which the entire world has blamed China for.

I was thinking about the lockdown in India. It was necessary precautionary step for the government to enforce the lockdown in the country as its unnatural calamity. Initially, this move was welcomed by the people because the corona virus was new and precaution is always better than cure. It was indeed a hard time for the small businessmen. Although, the government had allowed the movement of essential commodities so that there won’t be any problem for the public. Although the lock down has hit the economy very hard and many migrant labours were stuck away from their home. But this step was important as the lives of the people were more important than the economy.

At that time, doctors and para medical staffs, police force and the cleanness workers had done tremendous job in treatment and further spread of the corona virus. But all those efforts have been forgotten now. Because of the lockdown and the treatment the recovery rate was high. But after three months, when there was uprising of dissatisfaction and anger among the public. It was due to stagnancy created in life due to lockdown. All the offices along with schools and colleges were shut down. Bigger companies and Multi-National Companies have allowed their employees to work from home and their work was carried away through video conference and other means. Actually lockdown affected the life of everyone whether it was someone working in school, college, government or private jobs or the labours along with farmers. Everyone was forced to sit down at their homes.

Initially, everyone enjoyed the lockdown because it gave them freedom from a routine life of going to office and returning home. Corona virus was something new about which everyone was clueless. So, it was a tight situation in which everyone was happy to break the boring routine life. But as the time passed, this lockdown got extended and extended. That led to the frustration among the migrant labours. People working in Private companies were allowed to work from home but it wasn’t possible for the labours and middle class people. Even government was clueless about the time duration about how long this lockdown has to be carried away as it was affecting the economy also.

Then the government allowed the unlockdown process in phase wise. Initially, the movement of migrant labours and opening of small and medium scale industries and small offices were allowed with minimum staff so that there won’t be any trouble. Sitting ideal at home was making many people crazy. At that phase of time, public places like cinema halls, shopping malls, pubs etc. were still closed so that there should be some control. But this also wasn’t enough to uplift the economy.

Unlockdown further created much havoc. People who have been stuck in faraway places from their homes were desperate to return to their home. This lead to the overcrowded buses and trains which were allowed to run during the initial phase of unlockdown. This increased the number of corona effected patients manifold. The rate of corona effected cases which was under control during the lockdown got triple and quadruple during the first phase of unlockdown. But the first phase of unlockdown didn’t gave much support to the economy. Hence, the government has to allow to open the liquor shop across the country. At few places, people gathered so much outside liquor shop so that the owner of the liquor shop was forced to close the shop. Actually, sitting at home and working from home had made the public frustrated and angry. Everyone was accusing corona virus for the lockdown and the current scenario.

Then gradually and slowly, everything began to come back to a bit norlmancy now. People are much aware and are knowing about proper security measures like wearing a mask and use of sanitizers when they are not at home. Actually, in the initial phase, awareness about the corona virus wasn’t available to anyone either its government or the public. But now, with time passes by and with the information technology, the people are taking their own care. I hope this corona virus ends with 2020 itself.

Day 470

Well, for me the time flies very fast. It just look like that yesterday only I wrote my last post on the blog. But it’s not the case. Actually, last month was very hectic for me. Till today, I was having professional work keeping me engaged and to prevent me from writing even though I was having topic to write. But right now, I do have the time but I don’t have the right topic to write.

Well, two days ago, the result of Bihar election came and NDA has returned to power. BJP has emerged as the second largest party as RJD came as the topper. But RJD has got 5 seats less than its 2015 performance. Indeed, BJP has improved its position as compared to 2015 elections. Now, the alliance with JD (U) is questionable. We have seen 15 years uninterrupted rule of Mr Nitish Kumar. Personally, I feel that Mr Nitish Kumar has lost his charisma. He has failed to come up with the expectations of the people. If I take his first tenure as a changing era for Bihar then it won’t be wrong. But for the rest two terms, he has disappointed the people Bihar a lot.

Now I think there will be a revolt against him in the BJP. I think within a year, it will be clear. Actually, my personal feeling is that since 2010 till date, he hasn’t done anything in the field of health, employment, encouragement of industries. Building new roads and flyovers across the state and improving the electricity supply and better law and order system in the state are few good works being done by him for which I give credit to him. But what about the other things. Why labours from Bihar are still migrating? We have seen that during lockdown, a large number of man force has returned to Bihar from other states. Why such situation has arisen that under the leadership of a good Chief Minister, the labours were forced to migrant?

Let’s take the education sector. IIT Patna was established but now the same institute has become NIT? How this happened? Why still many students of Bihar are going to other cities like Bangalore, Warangal, Chennai, Vellore and other places for engineering and medical studies? Why isn’t there much facilities at the current engineering colleges and medical colleges to cater the need of Bihar itself? If you will say that it’s not possible for the government to start school and colleges on its own at every places of the state. I agree with you. But what’s the Bihar government’s policies about encouraging private players to open their ventures in Bihar? There is no control of the state education department on the private schools who are charging heavy fees for the education till class 10th.

What about inviting companies to invest in Bihar? I know that it’s not possible for the Nitish Kumar government to start any new industry in the state but it hasn’t done anything to invite any companies to Bihar. Forget about the international companies, even national companies aren’t ready to invest in Bihar. If Nitish Kumar is charismatic leader then it won’t be difficult for him to improve these situation. But I doubt that. Since last ten years, he hasn’t been able to do so.

I think the betrayal of JD (U) in 2015 elections has made JD (U) to pay the price in 2020. In 2014, Nitish Kumar left NDA and broke all relations with BJP. Prior to the elections in 2015, JD (U) form alliance with RJD and Congress against BJP. But in 2017, Nitish Kumar made a U turn and again joined hands with BJP and revived the coalition in NDA. There was a strong political turmoil during that time. I think that’s the main thing for the loss of JD (U) in 2020 elections. They might blame Chirag Paswan for creating tough competition for JD (U) but the picture is something else. I think it’s time for downfall of JD (U) in Bihar. Seriously, this time Nitish Kumar has to seriously focus on the development issues otherwise seriously this election will become his last one.

Day 469

Well, it has been approximately three weeks since my last post. Sometimes I feel that time really flies very fast. Actually, I was busy in performing my duties towards my professional life so I wasn’t having much time and attention towards the writing something for the blog. Actually, blog writing is a hobby for me. Like every office goer, even I have to dedicate more time to office than the required time slot. Actually, I’m not complaining about it. I think it has become a fact with everyone who has to spend a lot of time in office. The reason may vary but the end result is the same. Don’t worry. I’m not going to write any post regarding the late working hour or so. That’s not in my mind. Why should I write about something which has become an ugly reality and most occurring thing in the life? The simple reason behind this is that we need to earn to sustain our life and family. That’s why this has become the truth of the life.

Anyway, today I’m going to write something about the current relation between India and its two neighbouring countries. Yes, you got it right. Two mutually friendly nations which have always been a headache for India. China and Pakistan have already illegally occupied Kashmir and have claiming our land as their own. But now the situation has changed. In 2017, we have seen the Doklam standoff with China. Although, Doklam is a part of Bhutan and India doesn’t raise any issue on Doklam and consider it as Bhutan’s area. But when Chinese army started constructing a road in Doklam area which shares its border with Bhutan, China and Sikkim state of India, then Bhutan government asked India’s help to resist the Chinese intrusion. According to the New Friendship Treaty, Bhutan asked India’s help and Indian government deployed Indian Army in the region. It resulted in stopping of the road construction by the Chinese army but it lead to the diplomatic war between India and China.

Now, in 2020, China started its notorious activities in Ladakh border area also. Actually, after the revocation of special state status of Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019 has made Chinese government worried a bit. About one-third portion of the Aksai Chin has been illegally occupied by the Chinese government and it shares the border with Gilgit Baluchistan which comes under Pakistan occupied Kashmir. With the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, both China and Pakistan have become restless. That’s why China raised its concern about the road construction in the Indian side in May 2020.

We all are aware about whatever happened on the 15/16 May 2020 night. Unfortunately, our 20 soldiers were lost that night. It was due to betrayal by the Chinese army, who first said that they will engage in face to face peaceful talk but later on they started hitting Indian soldiers with sticks. In retaliation, Indian soldiers had to self-defend themselves. Suddenly more Chinese soldiers came from nearby area. In glaciers it’s common to have ice sledding due to heavy weight. I don’t care about the loss of 43 Chinese soldiers although I think it’s a false figure given by the Chinese government to hide the true number of troops being of Chinese army. I think more than 43 Chinese soldiers were killed. But that’s not my concern.

Anyway, this incidence had fuelled the tension between India and China. Now again, diplomatic war has started. Now both sides are horn locked in Ladakh issue. Although many rounds of talks had been conducted by the both sides at different levels, but none of them have come with any satisfactory solution. This is due to the mutual distrust. I think that China has lost its credibility and it would be a wrong move to trust China again. Definitely, it would stab at India’s back if there will be a hug for friendship between India and China.

Day 468

It has been a long time since I wrote my last post. Actually, hectic work schedule has made me lazy in writing the post. Sometimes, few things can’t be ignored. But with me this is happening very often. But I sit to write whenever I get the time to do it. Today, I thought I won’t postpone my writing. Actually in the last few days, it’s happening with me that I’m sitting to write but then the mood swings to another direction which leads to some work or another.

This has become the reality. Whenever I have the topic to write something then I don’t get the time. But when I get the time then I don’t have the topic. I know that you don’t bother about my being absent for months. I have observed this that I’m not getting any feedback on my posts from your side. Actually, I also don’t mind about it because I have left the expectation of getting any post from your side. So, it’s worthless to blame you for something which isn’t going to come from your side.

Today also, I didn’t had any particular topic to write but I’m writing just for the sake of writing. Actually, getting the right topic along with the quality time and a full swing of rhythm has become a rare thing to me these days. Actually, this is the thing which is preventing me from writing. Well, many topics are now coming to my mind but the rhythm isn’t coming along with it. So, I’m undecided about choosing the right topic right now. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to do so.

Day 467

Previously, I was busy in some other work that’s why I wasn’t able to mark my presence on writing the blog. On Sunday, I thought to write again. But the sad demise of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, gave a heart break to me. Couple of months back, we had lost Irfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor but both of them died due to dieseas. But Sushant Singh Rajput’s dead has come as a major shock because it’s claimed that he was going through mental stress. It’s really sad to see such a young and talented actor going through mental stress. With just eleven films under his belt, Sushant Singh Rajput has marked himself as one of the best actors in the Bollywood.
I don’t know what were the factors which forced him to take such a big decision but it wasn’t right time for him to commit suicide. Many people are now saying many things. Kangana Ranaut is saying that Sushant Singh Rajput was forced to commit suicide so it’s a planned murder. Indeed, the suicide of Sushant isn’t just a tragedy incidence for his family only but for his fans only. Still, his smiling face is coming in front of my eyes while writing this post. In his last movie, Chichore, where he played the role of a father whose teenage son tries to commit suicide. In that movie, he said that in time of failure, suicide isn’t the only step. I wish he would applied the same thing in his real live also. But he didn’t do that. As a result, only his memories are with us instead of him.
Like Kangana Ranaut and few other people from Bollywood film industry are blaming YRF, Karan Johar and few influential names behind the reason for the mental depression. KKR has said that YRF and Karan Johar had limited the offers being given to Sushant Singh Rajput. It’s alleged that Karan Johar wanted Sushant Singh to return to television industry. Abhinav Kashyap has alleged that even Salman Khan is one of persons who influence the Bollywood a lot.  I don’t know how much truth is there in these allegations. Well, there was no suicide note was found in the home of Sushant Singh Rajput. So, it’s not clear what was the exact reason of the depression of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Nepotism has becoming a trend now due to which fresh talents aren’t allowed much in the Bollywood film industry. Nepotism is being used to make the next generation of the established houses of film actors. Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar had reportedly made fun of Sushant Singh Rajput on Karan Johar’s show when Karan asked Sonam about Sushant and she replied that who is Sushant and both of them laughed. Both of them are trolled a lot on social media. Maybe due to this, allegations are being put on them.
Now the police investigation will give the final picture. Even the demand is raising for the police investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput. It’s now the thing of time and patience. I just pray to God to give strength to Sushant’s family in this tough time. Rest of the things will be sorted out with due course of time. Then only the things will be cleared.

Day 466

Its good that the migrant labours are returning to their home states by the special trains been run by the Indian railway. Indian railway opened its online application for ticket reservation but it failed very badly. Indian railway has decided to start 15 trains for 15 destination from New Delhi railway station with minimum stops. But the server of IRCTC didn’t took the load of the number of multiple log ins at a time at 4 p.m on 11th May 2020. It was reschedule at 6 p.m. Again the same thing happened on the IRCTC. There was anger between the mass because of the link failure. They raised the question that railway didn’t have the fore sightless. Many people are still strangled in other states so it’s obvious that they will log in to the IRCTC’s site for the online ticket reservation. This is the only available means of getting the reserved ticket. Indian railway has already given the notice that it won’t sell any ticket from the ticket counter at any station.
Actually, I think that the regular movement of the trains will take another couple of months. The rate at which the number of corona virus infected patients are increasing has become a major concern. Due to this government isn’t ready to take any risk. However the step taken by the government to start labour special trains for the movement of the labours to their home states has also showing its results. Already a lot of political drama had happened. But now some sad news are being received. In Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the migratory labours are being killed in various road accidents. This is the thing which nobody wished to hear. How this accidents does are happening?
In Guna, Madhya Paradesh, the bus carrying migratory labours got collided with a truck resulting in death of 8 labours. In Uttar Pradesh, migratory labours from Bihar were knocked down by a running bus. This is unfortunate. Those labours who wished to see their family members, left their work place. But now they won’t be able to meet their family members. Their family members’ wait has now become indefinite wait. I think patience label has to be maintained. I understand the how much stress they are having.
With no work and no pay, these labours were stucked in their workplaces. They weren’t having any choice rather than going back to their homes. After two lockdowns, their chance of going to their homes became a reality but the irony is that the increase in number of also a tragedy thing. Anyway, I wish that the remaining workers reach their homes safe and sound.

Day 465

The number of positive corona cases aren’t going down. It’s going up and up. It’s a reason to worry. I don’t understand that in spite of the lockdown how can corona virus spread with such an alarming rate? This clearly means that the social distancing isn’t followed strictly. Well, after seeing the situation at the wine shop in Delhi, it has been proved that now the social distancing won’t be followed on own will. External force like police is required to get the social distancing well.
I think some more concrete plans are required to tackle the problem. Morality rate is getting high in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Delhi. It has been observed that the doubling rate has fallen to 11 days from 15 days. It is proved that there is error in the surveillance, contact tracing, reporting of the positive cases which is resulting in delay of treatment. This has become the reason of increase in number of deaths. I think this error has occurred at the end of state government. Everything can’t be left to the central government.
I agree that it’s an unfortunate tragedy time in the country where everyone has to be cautious and alert. Not only government, be it state government or central government, is to be blamed and to look upon this unnatural calamity. We, as public, too, has some responsibility. I don’t think that we are immature people. We have to understand this that if we will follow basic rule of social distancing. Government has appointed doctors and paramedical staffs and have built hospitals. But it’s not necessary for us to go to hospital due to corona virus.
Without the support of public, no government is going to win the fight against corona. France is a nice example for us. People there didn’t have cautious at the right time and hence they paid the price with their life. I wish that whatever happened in France don’t happen in India. Actually, this is the fight between us and the corona virus. By social distancing and avoiding rush at public places is the only way to stop this corona virus from further spreading. I agree that by staying indoors we are feeling suffocated and irritated. We want to go out but this time phase is extremely crucial. The way in which corona virus is spreading is a major concern. We have to break this chain. So be at home and go out when it’s necessary. If you are out then maintain social distancing.

Day 464

The central government allowed to open the liquor shops across the country. The buyers got so much happy that they forgot all the rules and regulations. They didn’t care about the social distancing also. Well, in Noida, everything was under control because of the presence of the police. But the places where police wasn’t present then there was total chaos. Actually there was bad reaction about this. Health Minister of Haryana, Mr Anil Vij, has said that relaxation in the lockdown has made him fearful. Indeed, the response from the public at the wine shops is really condemnable.
I agree that people didn’t had wine for the last 40 days so they became impatient after seeing the wine shop open. They should have shown some more patience. Opposition parties will try to attack the government for this but the decision taken by the government wasn’t based on misbehave of the people. Due to lockdown, all the industries are shut down. Already, the government is giving financial support to the economical poor of the society by giving them money directly in their bank accounts. But where the money will come from when there is no industry running? All the business has come to stand still due to the lockdown.
This may have forced the government to allow the liquor shops to open. But I think no one would have expected people to react in this way. This is the reason why the government has to think again about this. I think there will be more deployment of police at the liquor shops to control the mass. That will be appropriate. There won’t be any rush and everything will be fine.
In my view, the government should start other industries also in phase wise. I’m sure that government must have planned some strategy but it’s waiting for the right time. I don’t think that government want to take any risk about the health of anyone. Already the rate at which the new cases are registered and deaths are happening is alarming. The rate of recovery is 28% which isn’t just satisfactory. It should have been much more. I know that healthcare workers are doing their best to save more lives. But at the end, it’s we, as the citizen of India, that has to be patience and supportive to the government. Government can build hospitals and appoint doctors, nurses and paramedical staffs but we have to look after ourselves on our own to save us from corona virus.
So, I request you all to be little more patience. I know that everyone is fed up now with the lockdown and lack of commodities. Believe me, everyone is facing the same problem. Actually, we are used to work from Monday to Saturday and to have rest on Sunday. But the holiday which we are getting as in form of lockdown is making us irritated. Well, we have to fight with corona to make our self and our family safe. So, it’s worthy to be at home.

Monday, May 4, 2020

Day 463

Welcome to Lockdown 3.0. As all of you are aware that lockdown 3.0 has commencenced from today till 17 May 2020. I hope that the patience level hasn’t gone down. Actually, this is the thing which is required at this very moment. All of us are locked in our homes, except for those who are providing essential services, so it’s a common phenomenon that the patience level is going to be down. But this is the real test for our patience. No, I’m not talking like a government official. I’m just talking as an ordinary citizen.
Actually, few days back, I saw a video of Bihari migrant labours who are stuck in Tamil Nadu due to lockdown. They were cursing the Bihar government for not providing any means of transportation for their home coming. I read a news article which said that few labours were in the huge concrete mixer and they were trying to go to their native places but unfortunately all of them died. This had happened in Gujarat. Actually, government is formulating some plan for the transportation of migrant labours, students and tourists who had stuck in different places to their native places. Now the central government and Indian government has initiated a scheme where the migrant labours will be sent to their native states by railway. Only sleeper coaches are allowed in which instead of 72 passengers only 55 passengers are allowed in a coach.
But unfortunately, opposition parties like Congress and Rashtriya Janta Dal are questioning the scheme of the government. Actually, the central government has announced that no fare will be collected from the labours but Congress party is saying that government is making labours fool. Railway has clarified that no tickets are being sold at any station. An advisory has been issued by the Railway that the state governments should tell the exact number of labours migrated from their states and wish to comeback. Accordingly the Railway will issue the tickets to those labours. The money will be collected by the state government. Bihar Chief Minister has said that the state government will give another one thousand to the labours coming back to the state. They have to be stay in the quarantine centres for 21 days so that the corona virus shouldn’t spread further in the state.
Madhya Pradesh government has already bear the entire expense of the migrant labours coming back to the state. Now Congress party is launching attack on the railway and central government that both are collecting the fare from the labours. If media reports are to be considered true then there was chaos at the online registration centre in Delhi for the migrant labours. This centre was created for the registration of migrant labours so that they can go back to their home states. Then it simply proves that Congress party is in mood to polities the movement of migrant labours to their home states.

Day 462

This week has been unlucky for the Bollywood. On Wednesday, news came of unfortunate death of a fine actor Irfan Kan. He was fighting with colonal cancer and he died at the age of 54. Indeed he was a versatile actor. Whatever role he played seemed to be written for him only. He didn’t differentiated between television serials, theatres and Hindi films. The entire nation paid tribute to Irfan Khan as many influential people from all divisions of the society said few words about him, be it politicians, film stars and film makers, sportspersons and likewise.
We haven’t recovered from the death of Irfan Khan, then on Thursday morning came the news of the death of legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor. He got pain in his stomach on Wednesday and on Thursday morning, he passed away at the age of 67. This news has shocked the entire nation. Condolence messages are pouring him. Actually, Rishi Kapoor wasn’t just busy in his personal life and films but he was very active on social media also. Very often, his comments or reactions were there on his twitter account on various topics.
Two tragedies in two days. It seems that some emptiness has been created in the Bollywood and it won’t get over so soon. Both actors have left their marks so deeply that it can’t be replaced. I don’t have much words to say more about them. I just pray that God give peace to the departed souls and strength to their family members to face the tough time.

Day 461

I’m confused about what to write today. Actually, the incidence of Palghar in Maharashtra has raised many questions. Really, the incidence is worth to condemn. Mob lynching isn’t the solution of anything. Police has arrested 110 people including nine minors but police would have stopped the mob lynching at the first place. The whole incidence happened in front of the police and police was mute spectator in the scenario.
Maharashtra government is saying that indeed the mob lynching at Palghar is a tragic incidence and it has no connection with any religion or community. If the same incidence would have happen with a person of another religion or community then what would have been the statement of the Maharashtra government? This is clear cut case of escaping from a situation without giving any solution. I think humanism has seized to exist in India in name of secularism. Secularism has become an aid to help minorities only whereas the real meaning of secularism is to help people of every religion and community.
Two sadhus of 70 years and 35 years were going to Gujarat to attend a funeral. But according to police, villagers thought them to be the thieves. I wonder that can’t villagers differentiate the dress of sadhu and thief? I think this theory is just a cover to the mob lynching. Police is just trying to cover its inefficiency. Now a minister of Maharashtra government is saying that who gave the permission to break the lockdown? Now my counter question is that who gave the mob of 300 people to break the lockdown? Chief Minister of Maharashtra is saying that this isn’t a communal thing so no one be spared if he try to spread hatred. I agree with him. But what about the policeman who gifted an elder sadhu to the mob to kill him? Just suspending him from the service isn’t the solution. He should be terminated from the service and he should be trailed in the court of law as a criminal.

Day 460

I’m frustrated now. Since I wrote my last blog, I’m trying daily to write something. Seriously speaking, I’m making drafts also. But none of them are satisfactory. Something is there which has killed the instinct of writing in me. Unfortunately, I don’t know what that is. What’s stopping me from writing? Lockdown and working from home is giving a good opportunity to me to write but I don’t know why I’m unable to use this opportunity? Previously, I used to think that when I’ll get the time then I’ll write something good. Now I have the time with me but sadly, I’m not having any topic to write.
What’s there to write except the corona virus? This deadly virus has claimed so many lives worldwide and had affected so many people and has brought the world to a standstill. Till date, no vaccine has been created anywhere in the world to fight this deadly virus. Isolation and some proper care at the hospitals across the world is making people curing the disease but unfortunately we are seeing the dead bodies also. Lockdown is one of the process to make this virus stop from further spreading. But the main thing is that human body need food to survive. This is the reason which is forcing people to come out and hence they are becoming target of the corona virus.
Government is forced to stop the social gathering to prevent the further spread of corona virus. In India, the lockdown period has been increased by the government. Medical force is working continuously to fight the corona virus and to keep people safe and sound. They aren’t going to their homes also. Same is with the police force across country. But still, in spite of all these things, the number of affected cases are increasing daily. This is the main concern of worry now. More concrete steps must be taken but that’s not possible. Some lenient steps is also required but with the current scenario of getting more people affected I think the relaxation should be given area wise and in time slots.
Actually, its human nature that it doesn’t accept much restrictions. Same thing is happening in India. In spite of lockdown and appeal from the government, to stay indoors, many people have gone out without purpose. At many place, police has used baton to send the wanderers back to their home but it send a message also that no violation of rules will be accepted. It’s good that the regular supply of grocery and other daily essential commodities hasn’t been stopped by the government. But still there are many shopkeepers across the country who are selling the goods at the higher price just to earn profit.
I hope all these things ends soon so that everything comes back to the normalcy. But I must say that we have seen some positive things also due to the lockdown. People are spending quality time at home which is strengthen the family values. Otherwise in many homes, where both the parents are working, the child or the children weren’t in regular touch with the parents. Now they are having the love and care of the parents. The pollution level has gone done. The pollution was one of the main concern now it’s under control a bit because of the lockdown. People are learning a new skill. It’s not necessary to go to office to work. It can be done from home also. But not all the industries or sectors can say that.
Logistic chain which includes the supply chain till the retailors, police department, health services, cleanliness workers and few more are the areas where people have to go to the office to keep the things running. At the end, I really pray that corona virus disappears completely from the world map and that too very soon.

Day 459

I hope that all my readers are having a nice time at home. Everyone must be enjoying the leave being sanctioned by the Prime Minister. It’s a leave which even your boss can’t deny. Actually, this lockdown has given me the chance to reflect some facts about life. I think for the first time, people are fed up of having so much holiday. But it’s not a holiday. It’s a war against corona virus. Everyone is a soldier fighting against this dangerous virus.
But there are few illiterate and barbaric people in India who are spreading this deadly virus. Yes, I’m talking about the tabligi jamat. This jamat has become the real threat to India now. This jamat has clearly violated the lockdown and have started spreading the virus. People have started talking that isn’t this new version of Jihad by Tabligi Jamat? Corona Jihad has become a new word. Today morning, I was reading news online. I was angry when I read that the patients who were living at the mosque of Tabligi Jamat were getting undressed in front of nurses and were making vulgar comments on nurses and are demanding cigarette from the security guards. This is really barbaric.
This shows the fault of the hospital management at MMG hospital. How can the patients living in quarantine roam freely? How can they misbehave with nurses and no disciplinary action is taken against them? I feel that all those mauls who were in the mosque of Tabligi Jamat think that they are doing something wise and are doing the work of god then they are being misguided. No religion or the god tells its followers to ill-treat other fellow humans. All these poisons are being put in the mind of the masses by bunch of religious scholars and leaders. Unfortunately, the number of misguided minds are increasing amongst Muslim community. For bunch of illiterate and mindless people, whole Muslim community is being targeted now. Few people have become the reason of hatred for the entire community. Members of Tabligi Jamat are responsible for 20 per cent of the total cases in entire India.
Not only Tabligi Jamat is the only case where few illiterate people are spreading the hatred and corona virus. Indore is another example. People used stone pelting on doctors went for regular check up in a locality. This is the way in which doctors are being treated when they are trying to cure. They even threaten police that no doctors are allowed in their locality. This shows that they aren’t ready to accept India as their country and they don’t think that Indian constitution and its law apply to them. This type of people give wrong message across the society. Indore is one of the hot spot for the corona virus cases but still the people aren’t ready to get treated. They are giving logic that their religion doesn’t allow to have vaccination against corona virus. Same thing happened in Bengaluru. Asha workers went for the survey in an area. They were  trying to get the answers to the standard questions. But in return, the locals came to them and they snatched the mobile phones of the Asha members. Announcement were made by local mosque that there is no need to answer to any question of the survey. Their religion doesn’t allow any treatment for Corona Virus.
There are various incidences where people are being seen by praying namaj at quarantine center or in their locality and with huge numbers. This shows that few so called religious leaders are provoking their followers. They all belong to one religion. Few handful religious leaders are bringing shame to the entire religion. The entire religion is being looked as suspects due to these people. According to me, now the time has come to use power. These people aren’t listening to the local police neither they are ready to listen to appeal being made by the Prime Minister. I think there should be strict punishment for them.

Day 458

What to write now? I know that everyone is fed up with the news of corona virus round the clock. Every one of us is locked down to stop the transmission of the corona virus and everyone is watching the news of corona virus on their televisions. Do and don’ts are often being telecasted on the televisions. So, the main question is about the topic.
Actually, lockdown is causing some effect on my mind. Every time I used to think that whenever I’ll get time then I’ll definitely write on any topic. But now when I’m having the time then I don’t have the topic to write. This happens with all of us. We always think that when we will have time or one day or someday, I’ll do this and that. But when the time comes then we aren’t able to do anything.
Well, one thing is beyond my thinking capacity. The incidence at Nizamuddin has really made me angry. In the time, when the entire nation is under lockdown then why were so many people living together at Nizamuddin? Many of them were found to be Corona virus positive. Were they using Nizamuddin as their secret breeding point to spread more corona virus in the country? Why the administration didn’t took sufficient action against them? Why weren’t police allowed to use their baton to empty that place? Why those people were spitting from the bus when they were taken to the hospital for test? What will government do now? What legal action will be taken against them? What actions are being taken to stop the effect of this jamat from spreading the corona virus in the country?
These questions are making me worried and angry. I wish that there won’t be any political blaming over this. This case should be handled with strictness. Being secular doesn’t means that due to one religion the lives of innocent people of other religions should be put at risk. Right now, all the so called intellectuals and secularists are silent because the jamat is of Muslim origin. If it would have been of any religion then all the news channels would have been burning with many facts and figures. But all the logic of those so called intellectuals and secularists journalists has vanished in thin air. It’s surprising for me. I think they must be waiting for the order from their bosses. Then they will divert the topic in such a way that all the things will be under benefit of doubt and people will forget the incidence very soon.
Well, this is the thing which is most disturbing for the country. When it’s time to unite against the common enemy of the nation, few people are making fun of it and are violating all the norms which are for the benefit of the society and nation. I wish that these people should be treated accordingly and should be treated as violators of the law and should be treated according to the law.

Day 457

Lockdown. It’s not a new word in India anymore. We all are locked down at our homes. For the first time in Indian history, Indian police isn’t putting culprits in lockup but they are sending the culprits in the lockdown again. Jokes apart. Indian police is doing a remarkable job and they are worthy of appraisal. This time, I’m with the entire Indian police for their great work which they are doing fearlessly.
But on the serious note, few people aren’t following the instructions of the government seriously. The government has come up with the lockdown instruction to prevent individuals before mass. But some illiterate and low IQ people are taking this as mass over individuals. I know that our daily routine is totally shattered. But I think this is the best way to show some respect to our nation. I think everyone of us has seen the condition of France. So many dead bodies in the coffins has taught us a lesson that this virus is not to be taking lightly. According to UN, in the health index, France comes on second number but still it couldn’t fight Corona virus. So, the best way is to defeat is to stay divided in this time.
I know that many of my readers are getting bored at by remaining at home. Actually, we haven’t been accustomed to stay this long at home. Still we have fifteen more days to remain indoors. There are a lot of funny videos on various social Medias which are going viral in which it’s been shown how people are reacting about the lockdown. But its demand of time now. It’s time to be socially distracted to stop the spread of Corona virus from spreading as we don’t know who will be the potential carrier of the corona virus. It’s hard to determine with naked eyes. This is done only by clinical check-up. So, its right to be single at this time rather than mingling with the crowd and carrying the virus to our home and get our family members contaminated with this virus.
I won’t bore you by saying the same thing again and again. So be safe and be happy and be healthy.

Day 456

I wish belated greetings of Maha Shivratri to my readers. Yesterday, the marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati was celebrated across the nation. Yesterday, I missed my days at Varanasi. The Maha Shivratri is celebrated with huge pump and show at Varanasi. At Varanasi, Maha Shivratri is celebrated at double the energy level. It seems that energy level is in the atmosphere. Tiredness and negative energies doesn’t enter in anybody during Maha Shivratri. There are so much parades and pump and show in Varanasi. Oh God, those were the days. Having the Darshan of Lord Shiva on any day is a bliss and having it on Maha Shivratri is a grand bonanza.
I know that I’m getting nostalgic. Let’s come back to the present. Well, there are a lot of things happening around me which are forcing me to write something on all those topics. But it’s not possible to write on all those topics. So, now the major concern is choosing the right topic. Well, I can’t say that whatever topic which I’ll chose will be the right one because it’s going to be extempore. But, there is a topic on which I want to write but I don’t know how to start it. I don’t intend to hurt anyone by my thought and my words. That’s why I have been avoiding that topic since a long time and after a long urge to write it soon.
It’s about CAA. I think it’s not such a bad law of which there has to be so many protest across the country. There have been a long list of protests after the CAA has been enforced into law by the Indian Parliament. This law has been made by the Indian government and the amendment includes Hindus, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Christian and Parsi immigrants along with Sri Lankan Tamils in India, Buddhist refugees from Tibet, Rohingya from Myanmar. But the protest is polarised on the sole reason that Muslim migrants aren’t included in CAA and NRC.
Now see the difference. CAA and NRC isn’t touching the Muslim immigrants from neighbouring countries of India. Side by side, both the laws aren’t blaming Muslims living in India as outsiders. In both the laws, Muslims living in India are treated as Indians like people of other religions. But the sad part is that the opposition political parties has joined two different things in one thing to defame the Modi government. I want to ask Indian National Congress to prove that where the Modi government has said anything about the Muslims already living in India. Indian government is trying to stop the illegal immigrants coming from Bangladesh and Myanmar. But Indian National Congress is doing the same which British used to do Indians before independence.
There are various regional parties which hasn’t understood the CAA properly and are in the government in their respective states have also said that they won’t implement CAA in their respective states. They have said that just because of having ideological differences with the BJP. But they are forgetting that the CAA and NRC has been passed in both houses of the Indian parliament and the states don’t have much choice of not implementing the CAA and NRC. Well, it’s another topic to talk about when a law is passed at the Indian parliament and the law passed by the state legislative assemblies. The hierarchy always says that the states don’t have any option when a law is passed in both houses of the Indian parliament.
Well, the protest is just outcome of the misunderstanding of the acts and amendments. It’s nothing more than that. There are many individuals from various section of the society who are protesting the CAA and NRC. I want to know from them that can they explain that the CAA and NRC has said anything about the Muslims born in India. The clear answer is no. Both CAA and NRC is talking about the illegal immigrants coming from Myanmar and other neighbouring countries. NRC is talking about the sorting the illegal immigrants in Assam since 1951 to 1971 to know the illegal immigrants living in India.
I don’t think that the union government is doing anything wrong. It’s just like having the population census and thus providing the facilities based on the data collected. In fact, the government is ready to relax the required the required number of years from 11 years to 5 years to get Indian citizenship by naturalisation to the migrants covered under the CAA and NRC. But the plus points of the act has been withheld by the political parties to gain their political aims. This is the thing which is very disturbing.
Few years back, I remember that many celebrities from Bollywood and many writers have given back their awards back to the union government because according to them India had become an intolerant country and its most unsafe place in the world to live. Now the same persons are advocating against the CAA and NRC. I want to ask them that if they were feeling so much unsafe in India then why didn’t they left the country and went to the country of their choice. What has happened in last six years that the most intolerant country in the world has become the safest place for the immigrants to live?
I think these individuals across the various section of the society are misguided by some foreign organisations. They have become the spokesperson of those organisations in India. Indeed, the face and voice is of these individuals but the original thought is of someone else. Actually, all these persons, themselves, are threat to the country and Indians are tolerating them. What another example they need to have tolerance in India? I think that very soon they will realise that the CAA and NRC is to unite the India not to divide India.
They sooner they understand this the better it will be. Then only there will be peace and harmony in the country. I would like to say that don’t become ideological puppet in the hands of political parties. These political parties are expert in using the feelings of the mass to achieve their political gains. So, once again, I would request all to use your wisdom.

Day 455

In my last post, I wrote about the capital punishment awarded to the accused of the Nirbhaya rape case. Now there are a lot of things going on after the issue of death warrant. The capital punishment has to be given on 1st February 2020. Now one of the accused, Mukesh Singh has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the rejection of mercy petition by the President of India. I think this is another afford to get extension in the capital punishment.
I wonder why this petition has been filed against the rejection of the mercy petition. I don’t see any logic in this. I agree that many of you will say that there is legal process which can’t be overlooked. Its true and I agree with this. There is universal statement that it doesn’t matter whether hundred hard core criminals are released by the court of law but no innocent can be punished by the court of law. But the thing which is happening here is just to have more time to postpone the proceeding of the capital punishment.
I think that the defence lawyer of the accused is doing this intentionally. Every time, he is using the loopholes of the legal provisions given by the constitution. Each of the accused has got two options to appeal. First one is to go to Supreme Court and second provision is of mercy petition to be filled before the President of India. Adv. S P Singh is playing will all the loopholes so that he can bail out his clients from the death warrants. He hasn’t filled a single petition in the Supreme Court for all the four accused at the same time. Every time, he is saying that until and unless a single petition is pending in the court of law or in front of the President of India then all four can’t be given death sentence at a time.
Here I want to ask Adv. S P Singh that if he is sure that his clients are innocent and they don’t deserve to get death sentence then why hasn’t filed the petitions against the Supreme Court at the same time? Why he hasn’t put the mercy petition of all his clients to the President at the same time? What he is trying to prove here? Is he trying to become national hero by try to delay the death sentence even by the rejection of mercy petition of the President of two accused? I have read the media report that Adv. S P Singh has challenged Nirbhaya’s mother that this death sentence won’t be there for long time. He will get his clients out of the jail. This was an accusation made by Nirbhaya’s mother. I don’t know what are the real thing but the circumstances and the movement of the petition are proving that Adv. S P Singh have some mysterious plan in his mind. Otherwise he wouldn’t have tried every loophole to save his clients.
It’s a proven fact that his clients are no innocent persons. It has been proven that they have done barbaric act which has been proven by the court of the law and they have been awarded the punishment. Then why Adv. S P Singh is trying to delay the capital punishment of his clients? What make him think that his clients are above the law of the country? What kind of example he is trying to put in front of others by getting this punishment converted into life imprisonment? I know that rape incidences won’t stop after the four accused are being hanged but at least there will be a clear message to all those that there is no way of escape after doing barbaric crime after rape.
Sometimes, I believe that justice delayed is justice denied. The honourable judges has to take some initiative now so that further attempts by Adv. S P Singh should be stopped from making fun of the judiciary system as well as the Indian constitutions. I think and I request the honourable Judges to pass the new date of the capital punishment as soon as it can be. Trying every option can’t be made any excuse to delayed justice and the expectations of the general public.

Day 454

But now the whole thing is clear now. The date of the death sentence is around the corner. The justice will be done within couple of days. But according to me, the justice was delivered after a long time. It should have been done earlier. But one thing came in my notice that there are huge number of cases pending in the Indian courts. In Supreme Court only, about 61,000 cases are pending. High courts are having backlog of about more than 40 lakh pending cases and subordinated courts have 2.85 crore cases.
Now the question comes in my mind that how so many cases are still pending in the courts? What is the reason behind this? Is it a fashion to keep the cases pending? What makes to delays the verdict? There are many questions like this. But what are the real reason for the delay verdict? Sometimes, the verdict comes after a decade or so. Sometimes, the accused died while the case is going on. What may be the reason behind this? Is the low number of judges hearing the cases one of the reason? According to me, sometimes, lawyers while arguing the case then they ask for time for further investigation or to give further evidences.
Sometimes, the theory of investigating all the evidences and looking into every possible angle becomes the main reason behind the delay in delivering the verdict. But I hope that soon this system will be changed and the delay time will be reduced.

Day 453

Well, it’s been always said that Indian judiciary is the most lengthy judiciary process in the world. It’s true also that if you file a case then there is no surety that the verdict will come soon. Many high profile cases has taken long time as much close three decades. Here I would like to take the example of Babri mosque. After 27 years of demolishing the mosque, the Supreme Court of India has given the final verdict in this case. Same thing happened in very high profile cases also. But few cases are there where the judgement has come in less spam of time like seven years. Here I’m talking about the Nirbhaya case, where the four remaining culprits have been awarded death sentence by the court.
We all remember the barbaric act of six animal mentality persons who did this inhuman act. One of the six persons committed suicide in the jail and one was released by the court under Juvenile law as he was under legal age at the time of crime. This judgement made my faith in the court a bit shattered. If a 17 year boy can rape a girl then he can’t be treated as an underage person. But the law is law. Surprisingly, the same convict was offered monetary support and a sewing machine to open a ladies tailoring shop by Mr Arvind Kejrival. He I                                              s the same person who always says that his priority is to give freedom and security of women in his state. But I doubt his mental state. Anyway, I won’t comment on his metal state now.
The convicts were to be hanged on 22nd January but there was some technical issues so new death warrants was issued and now they will be hanged on 1st February. All the precautions and proceedings are been taking place to monitor them round the clock in the Tihar jail. The convicts have tried their every legal way to get their death sentence diverted into life imprisonment but all the things have turned against them. Even the President of India has denied their demand of pardoning their death sentence. This has proved that now the culprits won’t be spared at any cost. I think this is a good think. If you have brutally killed a person then you should be hanged. It’s true that tit for tat isn’t the right thing but sometimes it become utmost necessary to take revenge otherwise there will be detonation in the society. Sometimes, non-violence leads to covertness and encourage violence to expand its wings.
But one questions comes in my mind. Why this is still happening in India? Why the number of rape cases isn’t down falling? Why the rape victims aren’t going to the courts for the right verdict? Recently, the same type of rape case happened in Hyderabad also where a vetnary doctor was raped by four men. Why our society is going so down morally? Why the females are still seen as sex objects in the society? These questions needed to be answer. Some strong steps has to be taken by the society first. Then we can expect something from the government and the court of law. Actually, until and unless we get our mindsets changed till then nothing is going to happen. We need to change the mindsets of everyone in the society.
For these, we need to change the mind-set of the parents first. Still, there are many states in our country where till date boys are given preference over the girls. Still the mind-set is there that boys are the carrier of the family linage to the next generation.
I think that there are many reasons of the social mind-set. One of the reasons has been mentioned in the above paragraph. Second reason is that there are many states in our country where the female to male ratio is very less. This means there are more number of males in comparison of females. Third reason is the lack of formal sex education in our educational system. Still sex is considered as an objectionable subject in our education system. In my view, unless and until, we don’t do anything in this direction then we can’t eradicate this mentality. I’m not saying that we will eradicate this mentality hundred percent but we can bring some change by changing the mind-set.
Recently, I saw a video on a social networking site. Two young girls were wearing shorts and shirts and they were sitting in a public place and were talking amongst themselves. Many boys were just staring at them. Few times they have changed their seats and one boy was always seen sitting next to those girls and it was quiet clear that he was chasing them. The audio wasn’t clear at that time, but it seems he was taunting them. Other boys and males were looking at those girls and the boy but none of public was doing anything except watching the show. Suddenly, a boy came forward and started questioning the person who was commenting the girls. The person vanished soon but more people came there again with that boy. These people were filming the whole thing from a distance and when the boy was asked that what forced him to come in defence of the girls then the boy said that he observed that he felt uncomfortable when the girls were been targeted and none came forward for the defence of the girls. Actually, this video has depicted the true mentality of our society. This has to be changed. We need to change the system. Believe me, no government can work alone until the public will support it.

Day 452

I used to think that JNU is one of the top most centres for higher studies in India. Getting admitted to JNU really proves the intellectual of the students. But the recent activities in JNU campus is forcing me to think that has the renowned university become the centre for protests and vandalism? Anything happens and there is strike and violence in the JNU campus. What is going on there? Whole situation is becoming like a ticking time bomb which will blast any day and the consequence will be not good for the future of the students and it will definitely damage the name and fame of the JNU.
I wonder that why the so called intellectual students are raising anti national slogans in the campus. Why they are shouting ‘Kashmir ki azadi tak jung chalegi, Bharat ke barbadi tak jung chalegi’? Why the students are ashamed that the killers of a terrorist are alive? Are the students studying there were family members or friends of Afzal Guru? Students were gathering in the campus to celebrate the killing of 72 CRPF personnel in Chhattisgarh who were killed by the Naxalites. Various faces came out of JNU after these protests like Kanhiya Kumar and Umar Khalid. Personally speaking, I think JNU must be proud of Kanhiya Kumar who is very much ashamed that Afzal Guru’s killers that means Indian army is still alive.
I think JNU should introduce patriotism as a compulsory subject in its curriculum. Then only the students will understand the value and services given to the country by the Indian army and para military forces. I wonder how the JNU administration could can allow the meeting of the students who wanted to celebrate the killing of 72 CRPF personnel. Who are those teachers who are teaching anti country subject to the students studying in JNU? Is JNU becoming the centre of anti-national campaigns?
Here I would like to ask few questions to Kanhaiya Kumar. Why did he want to fight till the destruction of India? What are his political or personal revenge against the entire country? Why he idolise Afzal Guru? A person who was known as a terrorists by the entire world how became the idol of a brilliant student like Kanhaiya Kumar. I have seen many political debates on the various television channels where Kanhaiya Kumar has asked that why he wasn’t arrested by the police if he was guilty of anti-national activities. But surprisingly, to encase his popularity after the so called protest in the JNU campus, he contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from his native place. No wonder he was rejected by the voters because voters won’t tolerate anti national person to be their representative.

Day 451

I won’t say that I’m late again. Every time I have decided to write continuously then something happens and my aim to write continuously is hampered. Many times I have asked the same question to myself. Only answer which I get is my professional life. I don’t know how others get time to pursue their hobbies.
Not only the professional life is the sole reason but sometimes I feel that lack of idea is also one of the main reason. Few days back or rather say couple of months back, I was talking with one of my old friends. He has just starting blogging and he was asking me that why I have left blogging. I told him that I haven’t left blogging but told him the true answers which I have written above. He laughed and said that due to me he has started writing blog and I have become inactive. Due to his little encouragement and I would like to add a little push from his side, I thought to start writing again.
I haven’t decided to focus on the topics on which I have to write because that makes me more late to write because I want to write on something based on some conclusion. Conclusive thinking makes a presentation nicer. That’s the thing which I always keep in my mind.
I think I should stop here for today. There has to be some work done before writing my next post. In the end, I would again like to say thanks to my friend who has ignited a small spark in me to write again. I hope and I wish that this time the spark turns into a flame of the torch.

Day 496

JAI SHRI RAM   Actually, I thought to write this post on 22 nd January itself, but I was busy whole day in watching the live broadcas...
