Day 123

Science and Religion. Two different worlds which are at logger heads with each other since the beginning of time. Both of them are searching the answers for some basic questions. But their paths are totally different. They always intersect each other’s paths and that too very often. But who gives the correct and universally accepted answers to the basic questions like Who created this universe? What was before it began to expand? When did it begin to expand? What was there before the expansion? What force is there that makes the Earth makes more favourable for humans to live here? There are endless questions like this. Many scientists are not religious. Science is their sole religion. Many religious leaders are not inclined towards science. Whatever is written in their religious books is the guiding force for their souls. They seek enlightenment through them. Approximately all the religion of the world believed that God has make the humans and the earth as the centre of the universe. Humans are the best creation of the God. But science has proved them wrong. Science has proved that the earth is nothing more than a tiny particle in the entire universe. And the earth revolves round the sun. this was just opposite to the believe of many religions. They believed that the sun revolves round the earth. In Europe, many scientists were killed or were convinced by the Catholic church to say this that they have worked against God. Still there are many questions that science hasn’t got any answer and religion proves it supremacy over science on those questions. Those questions are like When did the Big Ban happen? What was before the Big Ban? If two bodies attract each other towards them then why is this universe expanding? Still science is struggling with these questions. It seems that this war between science and religion will continue till this world is there. Can’t it happen that these two comes together? But this seems to be a far fetched idea. These two fields can’t come together. They were enemy of each other since the beginning of time and will continue to be the same till eternity.

Day 122

Still, no comments on my last blog. It’s really sad to see that no comments are coming. Actually it really helps me to write more enthuastically. But it seems that I have to write for just sake of writing. Right now, I don’t have any idea in my mind. But who knows that while writing I might pick one. Actually even I don’t know that which topic will come in my mind. Because very few topics comes in my mind and that too very rarely. To avoid the confusion, I ask you people to send me comments. Confusion about the topics. Your comments are important feedback for me. And it’s a means of communication between you and me. Frankly speaking, I’m feed up of the monologue. I want to have conversation with people. You and I are not face to face. I even don’t know that how many people are reading my blocks. So your comments will help me to decide that how good or how bad am I as a writer.
See the question is not that how regular or how much can I write. But the question is here that I must know that whether I’m writing qualitatively or not? That’s the important factor. Because I’m here for quality writing not for quantity writing. So to improve my writing standard or writing style I need your support and feedbacks. If you have negative feedbacks also then also let me know the drawbacks of my writings. Now I am waiting for your comments.

Day 121

It has been really long time that I have posted anything in the blog. Last month, I posted only two posts in the blog. Sometimes, it happens that when you are not in mood in spite of having topics to write, you ignore writing. Same thing had happened with me. Well, by not taking much of your time, I would like directly to the topic. Today, I’m going to discuss something which is still in the news and the topic is really debatable. Well, I’m talking about the decision taken by Mr Kapil Sibbal to remove the examination of Class X from schools. Now this is something which is totally unacceptable. He is talking about something which is not effective in the long run.
Mr Sibbal is defending his decision that this will take off the pressure from the students who appears for these exams. But in reality, it’s going to make the matter more worse than its now. This is not going to help the students. And he was talking about the grading system instead of the present percentage system. Now this will totally destroy the merit of the students. Now if we get a look into this then the picture will be something like this.
Generally, Grade A is given to all those students who get more than 70%. Now compare two students who have got 75% and 95%. Now both of them will be in the same grade. Now who will then decide that which student is more intelligent and meritorious in between two students? You can’t differentiate them as both of them are having Grade A. It will kill the motive of studying and hence the spirit of competition will die out.
Now let’s come back to the main point. Mr Sibbal wants to make the Class X board exam an optional exam. Means those students who want to continue in the same school then they will not give the exams. The exams will be for them who want to discontinue from the school. Now this proposal is, also, having disadvantages in it. More and more students will avoid the Class X exams now. They will say that they want to continue in the same school. Then the burden will be there on the school administration to provide the option of other subjects which these students. Not all of them will go to a particular stream. And in the Class XII, again the situation will be worse. Those students who have skipped their Class X exams will not have the exposer to the pattern of exams of CBSE. They won’t be able to cope up and their marks will go down.
So instead of helping the students, Mr Sibbal is playing with the future of all the students of the country who are studying in the schools under CBSE Board. So now, its we, who have to decide that whether we allow this ridiculous pattern or just remain silent and support it and let our coming generation suffer due to this.
