The swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar is going on today at Gandhi Maidan. This is the first time that a Prime Minister is attending the swearing in ceremony in Bihar. Well, this time the new council of ministers is also taking oath with Nitish Kumar. But I must say that there hasn’t much change in the council of ministers this time. I think only 10% ministers are new in this council of ministers, remaining ministers were there in the previous government.
This time lot of political meetings were held amongst the
NDA partners and a balanced council of ministers has been formed. But I must
say that Chirag Paswan has done a miraculous job in the recently concluded
Bihar assembly elections. His party contested on 23 seats and won 19 seats. It's
true that he had inherited his political career from his father, Late Ram Vilas
Paswan and had proved that he will really go as per expectations. Like Chirag
Paswan, Tejashwi Yadav also inherited his political career from his parents. Being
son of two former Chief Ministers had made him the leader of his political
party but this time he had retained his seat with just 14,592 votes.
I think now we will see some more development work in
Bihar. In my view, now the newly elected government should take some new
initiatives for industrial sector in the state. With the boom in the industrial
sector, migration problem and employment problem will be solved at the same
time. Now the time has come to make Bihar prosper and more self-sufficient.
