Day 439

Well, few days back, I wrote about the opposition parties. Let’s see the works of the ruling party. Well, the entire nation has seen the impact of Mr Narendra Modi’s ideas. He immediately didn’t start doing any miracles. He studied the situation very minutely. Or rather say that his experience as Chief Minister came handy. Then he started working on the core issues like sanitation. There were many villages where people use to go in open to attend nature’s call. That’s why he has initiated the project of construction of 10 crores toilets by 2019. Mr Narendra Modi asked corporate sector to participate in this mission. Positive response began to come through the corporate sector. IT firm TCS came forward with the fund on 100 crores for this mission in addition of making 10,000 toilets in girl’s schools across the country. Bharti Foundation, Adani Group, Reliance Industries, Vedanta Group are few names who have come forward and have joined this mission along with their significant contribution.
I think it will be wrong to miss the Clean India mission. I think this is one of the masterstrokes of Mr Narendra Modi. For this mission, Mr Modi nominated notable celebrities from film industry, sports, media and business for the promotion work. It was one of the missions who lead him to reach the rural areas and to make a change in the rural life style. This is the thing which made him popular amongst the rural mass also. I know that you will say that even UPA government started NREGA or MGNREGA to create job opportunities for the rural mass. But here I differ from your point of view. In my opinion, on the surface it’s a good initiative to have job for the jobless people in the rural area. But it had many loopholes. According to me, it had flaws like the distribution of wages to the labours. It was an open opportunity of corruption. The work was been done through contractors or the officials. Illiterate labours were given low wages than the mentioned wages and the rest of the money was going in the pockets of the contractors or the officials.
If we talk about the masterstroke then the surgical strike on the terrorist’s camps in Pakistan was another masterstroke. There had been many classifieds operations of the Indian armed forces but this was the first time when Indian government has taken the full responsibilities of the surgical strike and in spite of this Pakistani government couldn’t do anything on the international level. The rate at which the militants are been killed in the Kashmir valley is another example that now the Indian government won’t tolerate the terrorist’s attacks on its soil. I think this is the right thing which he has done. Initially, he has done a lot of world tour and he has showed the entire world that India isn’t a weak country. Let me recall an incidence. When Mr Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujrat then the American government said that they won’t allow visa to Mr Narendra Modi. But when he was elected as the Prime Minister then the first country to invite Mr Modi was America itself.
I can’t forget the situation which arose after the demonetisation which was declared by Mr Narendra Modi. Even I was standing in the queue for two three hours. I can’t forget the scenario how people used to rush to another ATM if previous ATM ran out of cash. It was really a time when everyone had faced this problem. But very few people knew the real intention. At that time, Mr Narendra Modi became villain for most of the public. But his only intention was to catch the corrupt persons who were having huge amount of cash stacked in their homes. His single decision affected everyone from top to bottom but the amount which was deposited in the banks was huge. I think that it was done to have the currency back in the circulation. There was another advantage of the demonetisation. There were many fake currencies circulating in the market. Those fake currencies were manufactured in Pakistani press and were circulated in India through illegal channels. Those fake currencies were out of the market and Pakistan suffered a huge financial loss. I think it burnt a hole in Pakistani balance sheet.
There are many schemes through which Mr Narendra Modi has worked for the betterment of the country like Jan Dhan Yogna. Its one of its kind where general public has come so close to the banking system. Due to this programme, many banks had reached to the rural side also which wasn’t there before. This proves that Mr Modi hasn’t thought about the urban people but for the rural people also. He started many programmes for the farmers also.
But its sad to know when in spite of this selfless and devotional service to the nation, he is called as thief by the corrupt and morally low politicians. They are in the mega alliance due to the fear that if Mr Modi will be the Prime Minister then they will go to jail. These days, opposition parties aren’t leaving any stone unturned to defame Mr Modi. My question to all the parties is that why they are so much scared of Mr Modi? Opposition parties especially Congress Party has ruled the entire nation for 55 years. Congress leaders quote themselves that they had done so much since Independence. But they are forgetting that there wasn’t electricity in a single village in India. Then why so many villages were still without electricity in their rule of 55 years? Why Mr Modi has to electrify those villages?
Under Congress rule, we have seen more corruption and scams than the development. I think under the leadership of Mr Narendra Modi, India hasn’t taken any loan from any international financial institutions. Rather we have paid off the debts. People are saying that Mr Narendra Modi is making us fool by increasing the fuel price every day. Mr Narendra Modi isn’t making roads for us. Mr Narendra Modi isn’t launching any new railway for us. I differ from those people. Tejas was launched by Indian Railways. But what was the reaction of the people. The broke the window glasses. They broke the LCD screens. They snatched the headphones and took those with themselves. They even took the mugs from toilet. Hence, we expect bullet train in our country. Mr Narendra Modi said before the general elections in 2014 that good days will come. A common man peeing on the wall asks when the good days will come? A lazy government official sits ideally in the office and asks when the good days will come? A shop owner who doesn’t pays the taxes asks when the good days will come? As if they haven’t chosen the Prime Minister for the country but they have elected a servant for their personal works.
Opposition parties are attacking Modi government of Rafael deal, increased price of petrol and diesel, LPG gas connection. Opposition parties are promising the voters that they will reduce the price of petrol and diesel along with LPG gas cylinder. But I want to know one thing. Where will they bring the money if the international oil sellers will increase the price? Simply they will increase the price of other things. Modi government is making a cash surplus by keeping the oil price at Rs 80 per litre so that if there will be fluctuation of price in the international oil market then there won’t be much effect of that in India. But these things aren’t going to be in mind of those people who wants to have free things for themselves without even thinking that what price they will pay in future for those free things.
Today’s youth is very much addicted to smartphone and internet connectivity. During assembly elections in Delhi in 2014, Arvind Kejriwal promised free WI Fi and various other things. Youth voted for him. But what they got in return? They were cheated when free WI Fi was given. There were restrictions on every site except those of the government official sites. Likewise, in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav distributed free laptops to the voters and came to power. After that, he forgot the same voters and gave privilege to his own caste people. When Ms Mayawati became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, then she was busy in making huge sculptures of herself and elephant which is political symbol of her party from the state exchequer. Now the Supreme Court has ordered Ms Mayawati to return all that money back in the state exchequer.
These people are calling Mr Modi a thief. Actually, they don’t care about the development of the country. All do they care is about themselves, their families and their loved ones. Nothing more that. I think time has come to show them that the voters aren’t going to get bluffed by them.
