Day 524

The swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar is going on today at Gandhi Maidan. This is the first time that a Prime Minister is attending the swearing in ceremony in Bihar. Well, this time the new council of ministers is also taking oath with Nitish Kumar. But I must say that there hasn’t much change in the council of ministers this time. I think only 10% ministers are new in this council of ministers, remaining ministers were there in the previous government.

This time lot of political meetings were held amongst the NDA partners and a balanced council of ministers has been formed. But I must say that Chirag Paswan has done a miraculous job in the recently concluded Bihar assembly elections. His party contested on 23 seats and won 19 seats. It's true that he had inherited his political career from his father, Late Ram Vilas Paswan and had proved that he will really go as per expectations. Like Chirag Paswan, Tejashwi Yadav also inherited his political career from his parents. Being son of two former Chief Ministers had made him the leader of his political party but this time he had retained his seat with just 14,592 votes.

I think now we will see some more development work in Bihar. In my view, now the newly elected government should take some new initiatives for industrial sector in the state. With the boom in the industrial sector, migration problem and employment problem will be solved at the same time. Now the time has come to make Bihar prosper and more self-sufficient.

Day 523

Well, the result of the Bihar assembly election 2025 is out now. Honestly speaking, this result came with a little shock and surprise for me. I was sure that again NDA government under Nitish Kumar is going to be formed again. But I never expected that the main opposition party, RJD, will suffer this much. Honestly speaking, when I saw Tejashwi Yadav along with Rahul Gandhi in Vote Yatra, then I thought that this time RJD will lose. Actually, during the last assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav did the rallies together and BJP won the assembly election in Uttar Pradesh.

Well, there are many factors due to which this time NDA got clear majority. In the last five years, although Nitish Kumar was switching from NDA to RJD and RJD to NDA, but his government gave new appointments. The social schemes of Nitish government also played a crucial role in voting. Nitish government started many schemes for the betterment of the women in the state. I think this is the reason for better percentage of female voters as compared to percentage of male voters. I was surprised to know from the news papers that even migrants from Bihar came for voting and now they are returning to their work places. This shows that the increasing awareness amongst the voters.

As, we all know that the result is out and now Nitish Kumar is again going be the next Chief Minister. But as usual the blame game on Election Commission by the RJD and its supporters hasn’t stopped. Actually, this has become a trend now. Winning alliance will praise Election Commission and loosing alliance will blame Election Commission. I think that instead of blaming Election Commission the losing alliance across India should reconsider their lack of policies which forced voters to stay away from them. Blaming the Election Commission is just like ignoring own duties and blaming others. So, it will be better to strengthening owns weak points. This suggestion is for every political parties and every political alliances.

In my view, the internal conflict of Lalu family became one of the major factors of the defeat of RJD in this election. The conflict between family and the party, the allegations of Tejashwi Yadav being arrogant, and few other factors turned against RJD. In this election, the Muslim-Yadav (MY) formula of RJD didn’t work out for the party because RJD was heavily dependent on Muslim-Yadav vote bank. But Nitish Kumar converted it into Mahila-Youth (MY) vote bank for his alliance. The way in which his government launched schemes for women and youth in Bihar made him a strong choice again for the Chief Minister for the fifth time.

Day 522

The tragic incidence at Red Fort on 10 November is indeed a national threat. I think there is something big going to happen. I must say that this time again Pakistan is planning to create panic in India. I think Pakistan has again used its Islamic card for activating the sleeper cells in India. Well, the intelligence agencies are doing their best to unfoiled the terrorist attacks.

Actually, intelligence agencies are working in capturing these sleeper cells and confiscating the various consignments of explosives mainly RDX. The enquiry is still going on for the Red Fort attack so it will be too early to say anything. But according to the reports coming out, Dr Umar Mohammad, the main accused of the Red Fort attack, took this step in frustration as the arrest of his associates and the seize of consignments reached him. It’s believed that the Red Fort wasn’t the actual location for the blast but in desperation, Dr Umar Mohammad, detonated the bomb near Red Fort.

I wonder how far the terrorist organisations have penetrated into our society. Using Islamic card is their favourite tool to provoke the sleeper cells in India. Previously, misguided youth and economically weaker section of the society felt in their trap. But now educated persons are getting trapped in name of religion. Dr Umar Mohammad could have saved many lives by practising his medical skills but instead of that he preferred to join the terrorists organisation and went to kill innocent people. I think terrorists organisations are targeting the educated section now and are brain washing them in the name of jihad.

Intelligence agencies are still investigating the case and new facts are being unfold every day. Mr. Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, was seen on the site of explosion after thirty minutes when the news of the explosion broke. Narendra Modi has called his Bhutan visit and returned to Delhi to monitor the situation. Narendra Modi was accompanied by Ajit Doval on Bhutan trip and he too returned to Delhi. But the opposition parties has started using this unfortunate attack as their opportunity. Congress party has demanded resignation of Narendra Modi and his cabinet. I think Congress party has lost its moral right to say anything on this unfortunate attack.

During the Mumbai attack in 2008, the entire nation was shocked. Nation was still mourning for Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan but Rahul Gandhi went abroad to have a party. Now, the same Rahul Gandhi claims that if his party would have been in power then they would have stopped this attack. When the restoration work of Taj Hotel was going on then a Congress leader went there with Ram Gopal Verma so that Ram Gopal Verma could make a film based on the attack. Whenever there has been terrorist attack on India, Congress party has tried to cover the terrorists by saying that terrorism has no religion. Actually, it’s a clear cut strategic step taken by the Congress party to keep its vote bank intact.

After the Pulwama attack, the same Congress party was asking that why Indian government isn’t taking any action. When Operation Sindoor started they blamed that Narendra Modi is trying to provoke Pakistan for a full scale war. After the ceasefire, Congress party said that Narendra Modi has surrender. I don’t know how to react or comment on these type of foolishness.

I just pray for those innocents killed during this unfortunate terrorist attack. May God give peace to their souls. But I request the Indian government and its agencies not to spare those who are involved in this attack.

Day 521

Well, its good to be back. Since, my last post, I was going through some though phase of my life. I lost all the interest of writing and there was something else become more important than writing. Literally, writing post has gone in the cold bag for me. Still, I haven’t overcome that phase but some positive vibes are coming back in my life. So, now I’m redirecting myself towards writing.

Yesterday, first phase of voting was completed in Bihar. According to the news channels, 64.46% voters casted their votes across Bihar and it’s the highest percentage voting in state since 1957. Well, I must say that the hike in voters turnout is a good sign for the democracy. This time number of women voters was high in comparison with male voters. This means women are becoming the deciding factor in the state politics also. This also is a good sign. But sadly there were few incidences of violence during the voting. Positive thing is that no killing was reported.

Actually, there has been always violent incidences during the voting in Bihar. Booth capturing, killing, attack on political rivals were synonymous with Bihar elections. Its sad to write that during post-independence elections in Bihar, political leaders used man power for booth capturing. Later on, in addition of booth capturing, threatening voters and political opponents. Then there was a time period, when the muscle men of the politicians entered the politics. That started the era of criminalization of politics. Actually, it happened across the country but Bihar was always lime lighted. Bad boys of politics in Bihar became heroes for the Indian media. But every rise has a fall too. Same thing happened with the criminals in politics. Soon the laws were made that criminals won’t be able to contest elections. This was done to make politics criminal free in India and it worked also.

Anyway, the main thing in Bihar’s assembly election is that with the rise in voters attendance has set a new hope amongst the political parties in Bihar. Every major political party is claiming that their party or alliance is going to form the government in the state. Well, it will be clear on 14th November that who will get the mandate for the next five years. But with the past track record of Nitish Kumar, its very uncertain even after the result declaration.

I hope that this time, we won’t have the drama for power changing as we have seen in past ten years. This time, Nitish Kumar will stick to the present alliance. I believe that the record breaking turnout of voters is due to the good policies being implemented by him. Although, I think that voters are satisfied with the NDA government but they want a new CM. But I think that there isn’t much option left to the voters. Every alliance has projected their Chief Ministerial candidate. In this situation, if the NDA government is formed then it will be tough to have new face for Chief Minister. Well, now the voters have cast their votes in the first round. EVMs are having the verdict stored inside them.
