Day 396

Well, I was feeling lazy yesterday which forced me to remain absent from writing the post. Sometimes, it does happen. It can’t be ignored. Actually, yesterday I was in mood to write philosophical thoughts. But I dropped the idea. I know it’s not your cup of tea to bear my philosophical thoughts. Well, yesterday night, I was having discussion with one of my old acquaintance. Obviously, the topic was the current ongoing tension between India and China.
We were discussing about the military strengths, in terms of number of army, air force and navy. Then we went on till the nuclear weapons and other things. Finally, we agreed that there will be no war in present due to various reasons. Actually, I argued about the CAG report which there is shortage of artillery supply for Indian army. The war will for just 10 days. In the current context, this type of news articles creates tensions and worries. Actually, Chinese government and Chinese media are already increasing the tension by giving false statement. The standoff between Indian and Chinese army is due to the construction of road by Chinese government which would easily give access to the Chinese military to the north eastern states of India. India has already warned China that the construction of the road will have serious security implementations.
Well, I believe that Chinese intentions aren’t good. They were trying to construct the road not only to mobilize their tanks and artilleries but for the smooth movement of their troops in to the hilly states of India. China has every time entered in to other nation’s region and has claimed that part to under Chinese possession. But this time they have faced resistance from Indian army and Indian government. For this Chinese government is constantly reminding India that the conditions will be worse than that of 1962 when India was defeated badly. At the disputed border, Indian soldiers and Chinese soldiers are facing each other about 150 meters. Indeed, the pressure is much higher at the border than we can think about while staying at our homes. But there has to be some solutions for this problem. Well, Chinese spokesperson has said that it’s easy to move mountain but tough to move the Chinese army.
Well, it’s another diplomatic move by the Chinese government to mount more pressure on Indian side. It’s doing the same thing before the tension started in June. It’s showing that India is at the wrong side this time to the world and is threatening India that it will suffer most. I don’t understand intention of China behind all these things. Invading other country’s boundary is Chinese propaganda, whether it’s surface, naval or aerial boundaries. Now the dispute with India is due to the actual boundary between both the countries. McMahon line is the actual boundary between India and Tibet. China doesn’t treat McMahon line as the actual boundary. As per Chinese perception, the treaty was signed between British and Tibet government. China government says that Tibet is always a part of China and it can’t make any agreement without Chinese consent. Chinese government never approved McMahon agreement.
Till 2009, China has claimed Arunachal Pradesh as its part. It was due to the mutual consent of Prime Ministers of India and China that China approved Arunachal Pradesh as Indian state while India approved Tibet to be Chinese territory. Actually since 1948, the border dispute is there. Every time the Chinese government has ignored one treaty or another and had illegally occupied the territories of other countries. Surprisingly, this thing hasn’t been stopped by any country because the target countries of the Chinese menace were either small countries like Tibet or Bhutan or military and economically weak countries like India and Nepal. International community or the United Nations aren’t taking any strict action.
