Day 359

Well, I know that my recent posts are bouncing from your head. It has to be. I’m not saying that you have to bear that. I’m just saying that writing after a gap of two years wasn’t easy for me. I was having urge to write but wasn’t having any idea to write. Writing without content is really tough. So, whatever was coming in my mind I was just writing that topic? Sometimes, I think that how tough it for writers to write novels. They have to concentrate a lot to write. I admire writers a lot. I read fictional novels a lot by Indian authors. But there is an Indian author whom I really don’t like. Her name is Arundhati Roy.
Well, Arundhati Roy came in limelight in 1997 after her book ‘The God of small Things’ won Booker Prize for fiction. Since then she has attached herself in anti government activities like Narmada Bachao Aandolan along with Medha Patkar. Roy was involved in separatist activities in Kashmir also. She publicly claims that Kashmir isn’t integral part of India. Senior Congress leader, Satya Prakash Malvia, clearly said that Ms Roy needs to have her historical facts correct because erstwhile ruler of Kashmir, Mr Hari Singh has signed instrument of accession in 1947 itself. Arundhati Roy has served one day imprisonment in contempt of court charge also. She openly supports all anti India movements particularly that of JNU.
In my view, if Indian citizens like Arundhati Roy will live in India then enemies of India don’t need anything else. Individuals like her are doing the work of India’s enemies. During Narmada Bachao Aandolan, she donated her award money for the rehabilitation of people affected due to the Narmada Dam. But nothing much was done. It was allegation on Arundhati Roy and Medha Patkar that they have showed foreign funding for their noble cause but that money was for terrorist funding. Arundhati Roy was against the capital sentence of Mohammad Afzal as illegal. She clearly said that the investigation and trial of Afzal was unethical. She has always criticized the Indian government’s armed action against naxalites. According to her, naxalites are freedom fighters who are seeking independence from Indian constitution and Indian government is doing illegal thing in dealing with naxalites by armed action.
She criticized Anna Hazare for his fasting for Lok Pal Bill as political stunt. According to Roy, Mr Narendra Modi is a tragedy and he is more aggressive and militaristic in nature. I wonder that why she is still an Indian? If she has so many problems with Indian constitution and Indian democracy, then she if free to leave India and reside in any other country of her choice. With her activities and her ideas, I think Pakistan will be more suitable for her. I know it’s my view. I don’t need anyone else to think like me because I think that if a person isn’t having respect for Indian constitution then India is not the right place for that person. Indian constitution has given the freedom of speech to every Indian citizen. But some anti Indian citizens are misutilizing that freedom to break India. Even some misguided media houses and name and fame hungry journalists are supporting those anti Indian citizens with all their nonsense ideologies.
Recently, Mr Paresh Rawal made a statement that instead of tying a youth on the army jeep Major Gogoi would have tied Arundhati Roy on the jeep. I agree with him. But I would say that instead of Roy, if army men would tie Barkha Dutt then the stone palters will automatically drop their stones. They can’t pelt stones on their relatives. I saw pictures of Arundhati Roy. My first impression was she hasn’t taken bath for ages. I believe that those who don’t respect Indian constitution should be boycotted socially, economically and constitutionally. There should be some punishment for those who don’t like Indian constitutions and Indian court of law. Actually, Arundhati Roy did spend a drama day in jail in case of condemn of court where she ignored the previous summons of the court. She immediately paid the fine of Rs 2500 just to avoid three months imprisonment. But the list doesn’t ends at Arundhati Roy.
In the recent time, I have observed that pro Pakistan thinker is growing manifold. There are few journalists who think like Arundhati Roy. The foremost example of this is Barkha Dutt. She came in limelight during her coverage of Kargil war in 1999. While watching her show, one can easily differentiate that instead of India she is thinking about Pakistan welfare. For her, militants are misguided youths and armed forces are killers. Stone palters are innocent youth. We have seen that stone palters are men and women of all ages including small children. But the victim of all those stone pelting, the Indian army, is a gang of killers according to Barkha Dutt. Sometimes, I really think that how much these individuals have gone down with their morals. That they are going against their own county. A country where they are living freely, where they are earning their livelihood, where they are having freedom of speech due to constitution, then also they spiting venom and nothing else.
But they know that India is a place where they have so much freedom. They can’t have these freedoms in Pakistan whom they praise a lot. Well, I feel that in democratic system of government; opposition of every government scheme is a fashion. But showing disrespect to the constitution isn’t allowable anywhere in the world except India. In my view, some harsh measurement should be taken against anti India people.

Day 358

I was just thinking that what to write today. There is a topic on which I want to express my view. But I don’t know whether you will like it or not. Actually, I was thinking about the modern day life. The life has become purely hectic. Life has become so fast that everyone looks to be lost. In today’s time, in my view, the professional life has complete command on our personal life. People are always in hurry to reach office; they are worried about the target, achievements, incentives, perks, salaries etc. To gain professional success, people are completely ignoring their personal lives. You may not agree with me on this point. But this is what I think.
I won’t keep the post a long one and boring too. What I’m saying is that when the last time when you have spent a single day without was worries? I bet you won’t remember that. Well, with me same thing is there. So, I use to say that childhood was the only part of my life when I was tension free. That time, my father was the only bread earner of the family but still we had dinner together. We used to go for recreation parks to have fun. But in the present scenario, life has become totally monotonic. Get awake in the morning, then get ready for the office, have breakfast and then rush to the office. In the evening, leave the office half an hour late than the closing time. Felt tired after reaching home. No will power left to go out or do something for recreation activity. I think this happens with you also. And then we used to set all our pending personal works on Sunday. Sunday is a day to relax but we are putting burden on it. Of course, you may say that at least due to the pending work we get time for outing with family. That’s true. But why can’t we make it twice a week activity.
These days both, husband and wife are working. Majority of the couples are working in different companies. I’m not against that. According to me, this is purely situational. By situational, I mean to say that if the couple is staying in metro city or a big city where the expenses can’t be met by one’s salary alone then wife has to be working. In present time, everything is becoming costly. Whether it’s living, food, medicines, medical assistance or anything. These expenses can be managed by one’s salary but then there will be no saving for the emergency or for future. Second situation is that if the wife also wants to work then husband also agrees. Don’t think that I’m against it. I didn’t mean that.
My point is that if the wife is also educationally qualified and if it’s her desire to work then generally the husband don’t object to that. But when it comes to the raising the family then the difficult choice for the wife is to choose between family and office. Because initial years of a child are very crucial years. In this time period, child needs the support of the parents. If both of the parents won’t give time to the child then physiologically the child get detached from the parents. If the couple are living with their parents then it’s easy for the wife to continue her career as the elders are there to take care of the child. But in the nuclear family, it’s not possible. Then wife has to quit her job,
Well, this is something different from the theme on which I began to write. My idea is that in this fast moving life, we are getting cut off from our vicinity. People aren’t aware of who is in the neighborhood, who is in the locality? Now a days, the internet and technology enabled smart phones are also consuming a major portion of our time and attention. We have hundreds of friends on the social networking sites but we don’t have time to meet a single good friend. We never miss the chance to like and comment the pictures posted on the networking sites but in reality it has been ages that we have talked with that friend. Meeting that friend is out of question. Now our professional colleagues are taking place of our buddies. We are getting no time for our school friends.
In short, where are we heading? Aren’t we living a monotonous and robotic life? It’s time to take time for ourselves, our families and our friends. It’s time to think that is the life which we are willing to live where professional work is in priority and personal work has taken back seat. In my view, personal life and professional life should be in balance. Both the seats should be beside to each other.

Day 357

Well, it feels good on a new morning. This is a thought of optimistic person. Well, what’s the difference between today’s mornings from yesterday’s morning? This is the thought of negative mentality person. It depends on one what kind of mindset the person wants to have. Here I’m remembering a story. The story is like this. Once a scholar went to a king to take test of king’s intelligence. The scholar has heard a lot about king’s wisdom and about his governance. Everyone used to praise the king. The scholar went to the court of the king and said that he has come to take the test of the king. King agreed. The scholar asked for a little bird. The bird was offered to him. The scholar took the bird in his hand and asked the blindfolded king to tell whether the bird is alive or dead? The king replied that it depends on the scholar. If the king will say that the bird is alive then the scholar will kill the bird. If the king will say that the bird is dead then the scholar will set the bird free. The scholar was impressed with the king and he set the bird free. Then the scholar praised the king a lot.
Actually our mind set is result of our own thoughts. What we see in the world around us? What we perceive? What we understand? It all depends on our mindset. That’s why a negative thought person will always sees negative things around him. Whenever he sees anything then his mind quickly analysis the situation and start thinking about the negative things or points. Actually, sometimes negative thoughts come from frustration, failure and due to different things. On the contrary, a positive thinking person is always filled with good feelings. A positive feeling person is never depressed with failures. His mind always has a satisfaction that the success can’t be defined by one or two failures. Whenever a positive attitude person fails, he began to think about the alternatives to success.
Well, in my view, a positive thinking person is happier than the negative thinking person. Same thing is with everyone. What we think is according to our mindset. I see every morning to be fresh and energetic. It’s not necessary that you have to agree with me. For you, it might me fresh morning. For me, I may have a hectic day ahead but I feel energetic to face it. For you, you may have different approach to tackle your problems or your daily routine. But the main thing is that if our mind is happy then we are happy. I think now days, while having morning walk in a park, you might have come across laughing club, where men and women gather and they laugh unintentionally. Well, I’m not an early riser but I have seen such a group in evening walk in parks whenever I get time to go to park. Well, that’s a nice way to get rid of your tensions. But my question is that do we really need laughing club for our daily routine? Can’t we laugh or smile on our own to have our light moments.
In this fast age, everyone is in hurry. Everyone is in pressure. People are getting lost in their professional lives that their personal lives are getting hampered. So, I believe that a smile to your family before going to office or returning from office isn’t a wrong thing. Smile on your face will bring smile on their face. You will feel happy after seeing your family smiling. Isn’t a nice thing? You didn’t need to do something special. You just need to smile. That’s it. In the same way, one can love to his family and can get love from them. This things doesn’t require any special things. One can’t change the mindset of the world. But he or she can change the environment at home. When there is peace and love at home then the members are always happy. Actually, these simple and basic things lead to enormous moments of happiness.
So I would advice to be happy and to live healthy – both physically and mentally.

Day 356

It has been 2 years since I wrote my last post. A lot of things had happened with me during these 2 years. But I was really busy professionally due to which I wasn’t really paying attention to writing. Sometimes I had ideas to write but couldn’t take time out of my professional timing and schedule. At a point of time, I thought that I won’t be able to write again. But fortunately, I got time to write so I came back.
Today, I don’t have any idea about what to write. Well, a lot of things had happened recently politically in India. But I don’t know whether politics is your cup of tea or not. Actually, we always complaint that politics and politicians aren’t good. But we don’t do anything to remove the problem. We do analysis but we don’t want to find the solution. I’m not encouraging any of you to enter politics or to join any political party. It’s up to your own consciousness. Nobody can force you to act against your own consciousness until you want to go against your consciousness.
Very recently, we have seen formation of a party after a massive protest and non co operative movement in Delhi led by Mr. Anna Hazare. One of his disciples went ahead and formed his own political party. Initially, it looked like that he will bring revolution in the Indian politics. But he turned in to an entertainer or rather say a joker of the Indian politics. He has lost all the credibility although he managed to get a landscape victory in Delhi assembly elections. But after that, the voters of Delhi had understood it very well that they have chosen a joker as their chief minister. His only agenda is to be in the lime light. He doesn’t care about whether the reason is right or wrong. His only aim is to be in the lime light of the media and center of attraction of the masses.
I know you have understood it very well about whom I’m talking about. I think he isn’t that much worthy that I should take his name in my blog. It’s up to your imagination. But I haven’t seen anyone like him. I know that voters of Delhi are now intelligent enough to show him way out unless he hacks the EVM in next Delhi assembly election.
Well, it wasn’t my intention to write about him. But it’s natural that if you want to have some humor then that person is the ultimate choice to make humor and to laugh at. With the same intention I wrote this post and suggest you to read the post in the same sense.

Day 355

It has been a long time since I last wrote any post on my blog. Actually, I was busy in my professional life very much. That’s why I wasn’t getting time for my creative writing. Sometimes, I really think that old days were good. Well, 2012 seems to be a good year for me in terms of writing. I wrote maximum posts in that year. 2014 turned to be very sad year for me as it got the minimum post. This year, I haven’t started writing yet. So, I thought to start my account this year with this post.
Well, today I’m in mood to write about the on going cricket world cup. This is the 11th time when the cricket playing nations of the world are playing against each other to win the cup. As an Indian, I was really excited and had pleasure when India defeated Pakistan in the first match. But there are a lot of matches which will be held till 29th March. I’m hoping India to win the world cup again like the last time.
This time every team, except few, is scoring beyond 300. This is something which never happened before. Something which was unthinkable. But many things have changed in cricket. Previously, cricket had only one form and it was called as gentlemen play. But with the passage of time, many things have changed in this game. I mean to say its format has changed. Its rule has changed. The tactics to play has also changed. With the introduction of T-20 format, the focus has shifted of hitting maximum scores in minimum balls.
I’m not criticising any format and favouring any other. I’m just trying to say that with passage of time, things have changed. Now everything is played with new rules and regulations. With change in time, the rules are also being changed. Since the commencement of cricket game, it was played as test match lasting for five days. But in early 1970’s, One Day Internationals were introduced which consisted of 60 over a team has to play. Cricket world cup of 1975, 1979 and 1983 were played with 60 over innings. Later on it was changed to 50 over innings. From 1992 world cup, concept of third empire was introduced in one day internationals.

Day 354

This year, I’m not happy with my presence on blog. This year it has been the minimal presence since I started blog writing. I’m unable to point out the exact reason behind this. Was it my over activity at my office? Was it lack of time and dedication? Was it lack of topic to write? Was it some other fact? What exactly was it? seriously speaking, I’m still finding the answer to these questions. I’m getting none.

Actually. I’m still trying to figure out which question is the right question to begin. Until and unless I’m not sure about the question then how could I find the answer. You may call me a crazy person but this is the fact. No, I’m not crazy but I’m a bit confused. I want to know the answer without knowing the question. This is pure state of high confusion. Its creating a bit of mental chaos also. But I know that there will be a right path if I get out of this chaos. Actually, the chaos begins when there are many alternatives. So, I would like to have some suggestions from your side.

Day 353

Happy Independence Day to all readers of my blog. I know that I’m writing this blog after the gap of six months. In the past six months, many things have happened in India and I have always wished to write about that. But unfortunately, I was extremely busy in my official works. My official work has hampered my blog writing. But never mind. I’ll try to resume the previous habit of writing the blog.

Day 525

I know that I’m writing today after a gap of four long months. The past four months were like roller-coaster for me. I have seen high phas...
